Hailey Tweeted on Monday about an experience when she and her girlfriend were apparently escorted off a Southwest flight for kissing each other. She said:
Hailey says she has much of the incident recorded on video, though she has not yet released any recordings. She is demanding a public apology and a refund from the airline, and calling for gay couples to boycott.

This isn't the first time Southwest has had run-ins with celebs. In February 2010, director Kevin Smith said he was told he was too overweight to fly on Southwest. In early September, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said he was kicked off a Southwest flight for wearing pants that were too baggy.Hailey Tweeted on Monday about an experience when she and her girlfriend were apparently escorted off a Southwest flight for kissing each other. She said:
- "I have been discriminated against by @SouthwestAir. Flt. attendant said that it was a 'family' airline and kissing was not ok. ... Hate is not a family value. ... We were escorted off the plane for getting upset ... Since when is showing affection towards someone you love illegal? I want to know what Southwest Airlines considers as 'family'."

Southwest released a statement, saying:
- " ... reports indicate that we received several passenger complaints characterizing the behavior as excessive ... The conversation escalated to a level that was better resolved on the ground, as opposed to in flight."
