It feels like we're watching a train wreck in slow motion.

Aaron Carter revealed that he broke his nose and totaled his BMW in a bad car accident on Tuesday, but that's not all that's happening. Apparently, the singer has been exhibiting erratic and potentially harmful behavior, and an anonymous caller called the police three separate times in the past 24 hours to do a welfare check on the troubled pop star, TMZ reports.

"Life is really so precious, I just got into a terrible accident and completely totaled my BMW M4.TBH this s--t hurts my arms hurt my legs hurt all my airbags went off I broke my nose this is f--ked up. All of my airbags went off and I'm cut up all over, at least everyone survived and we're good. Everything is fine. Thank you for all the support and love. Means a lot. Accidents happen. I'm just happy both of us were ok," he wrote on social media before the drama began.

This comes just one month after he was arrested for DUI and weed possession in Georgia. He's given interviews where he swears up and down he doesn't have a substance abuse problem, but something is clearly wrong.

Whoever called the cops is concerned because the former teen idol has been trying to buy a gun for the past several weeks, and they think he needs a psychiatric evaluation. Not only that, but he's allegedly threatening to harm family members and others, and the situation seems to be escalating.

Nothing about this sounds good.
